Frozen nuts?
My better half shops at Costco so she's always coming home with industrial sized containers of things. Usually not a problem but it's been brought to my attention that Pine nuts, (or pignoli nuts as she calls them), like most nuts will go rancid after some time. Long post longer, can I freese them in smaller batches with my food saver or are smaller boxes of nuts in order.

I vac pac and freeze almonds that way. I like to put them in the broiler for a few minutes before eating. John.

yeah i toasted some tonight, added dried porcinis, celantro, lime, little mustard, breadcrumbs, EVOO and S&P, gave 'em a spin in the food processor and spread the chit on some nice thick pork loin chops that i started in a skillet and finished them in the oven... i am so stuffed i can't hit the shift key to capitalise, lol
