Default Breaking in the Kamado #1

A simple indirect wing cook. Placed on the upper grill for best results.

Rub=Granulated Garlic, ground black pepper, paprika, kosher salt (very light on the salt)

Go in the cold cooker, start and slowly let ramp to 365 (took 'bout 40 minutes), hold and cook 2.5 hours. Crispy tips and skin.....juicy meat. Nice way to soil the inside of the fark'n virgin cooker

Last pic: Rodney, Frank and Murray. Our purebred "scraphounds"

Wings look great! You sure you don't want to bring that Kamado to the Sept. Bash?

Also, the middle pup looks like a Rat Terrier, am I correct?

I would love to bring my Kamado in Sept, but it might "compromise" the mileage on the car. 700+ pounds! And yes, that little dud in the middle is Frank the Rat terrier. Rodney in front is a Havanese, Murray is a Bischon-Cocker_Poodle mix.

I'll have a bash in LowSoCal and all you farkers can come meet the barkers!

The upper grill is an optional accessory. Makes for a whole lot more grilling space. With the upper and lower grill in use, we can get 6 pork shoulders on at once!
