Maybe :)

There is also another chinese place on Odgen west of the hotel called Lao Sze Chaun that used to be very good, but the most recent Yelp review haven't been very good.

Their web site appears to be down, but here is the Yelp page.

Nothing but the best Tim. ;)

China Chef in downtown is good. Connie's is still the best deep dish if you don't want to drive. Rosati's, well done for a thin crust that is right across street from hotel. Also close to the hotel is Pappadeux, which is a cajun type restaurant. Awesome food! Siam kitchen on Ogden for Thai. Drive about 3 miles down Ogden for a combo at Scooby's Red Hots in Downers Grove. Taco Express in downtown is also good quick eating. Uncle Bub's has awesome food as well. Just had some outstanding jambalaya there last night.

Beer/wine at the Jewel at Cass and Ogden.

I think those are all my haunts locally.

I forgot about China Chef! I haven't been there in at least 20 years! Scooby's is a good choice!

I don't see anything on the agenda about time off for happy hour. Is there any way to fix that?????

I should also add. Some of the food that I have Uncle Bub's catering, you won't to eat the hotel food... Maybe grab a quick cup of coffee on the way out. But Mark is planning a spread for both dinner and breakfast...

Scottie, that's great news, congrats on the sell out!!!!!!

I'll be out there in Aug, staying at the Westin O'hare in Rosemont for a conference. Will be picking your brain for food ideas.

Clubhouse was great, nice and clean, very easy to find, and quiet. Had deep dish pizza at Connies, and loved it.

The food supplied by Bub's BBQ was awesome(thankfully is wasn't BBQ food), and the class was very well done and entertaining. I learned alot, and the goody bags and misc. loot we got to take along with us very nice.

Thanks to Scotty, Mike and all the support staff for making such a great informative event.

Scotty...............she would be very proud to see how helpful and well behaved your daughters are.

God Bless.
