My wife has been wanting more help while at comps. This past summer when her dad was staying with us and in the hospital I had to go solo along with my grandson (11 Y.O.). He did good, and I was proud of him, and you should have heard him when we got a call for ribs.
Well, I told them if they could find someone that they thought would fit the bill, and tote the load, and could hold up under the heat and pressure, I would give him/her one chance.
So, today, they came home and introduced me to the new team member.
I have some doubts as whether he will hold up under the heat when this season get in full swing in 3 months from now.
I promised I would give him a try.
