Default Pit Barrel Cooker Temp Probes

I've just received my new Pit Barrel Cooker and I was curious how other users route the leads for thermometer probes into the cooker.

Thanks!

John,

I anticipated that response! It's something about old dogs and new tricks. I'll probably get over my need for the reassurance of temperature probes, but I'm not there yet.

Baby steps!

I'll let you know how this weekend's cook goes.

go right through the rebar holes.. just be cautious if the meat is already on it can get tricky haha! but honestly just slide it back (the rabat) and run the wires.. I bet you will measure temp 2-3 times tops haha
