Nice score indeed! The marbling looked just fine, thats what I would look for when I buy steaks that are already cut 2-3 to a pack. What "hood" store was it?

They grilled up nicely and tasted GREAT! Just might pick up another one tomorrow!

Those steaks look awesome. The NY strip steak is one of my favorite steaks. I am wondering if anyone on the forum has tried cooking it whole similar to a tri-tip roast
