Default Louisiana Pellet Grills_Smokers ... Still Alive?

Long time no talk but still Q'n .... Sold Traeger 075 during lengthy deck project (now complete) and want to add another pellet grinder. Traeger will work, (probably Lil Tex 070) but really wonder about Louisiana Pellet Grills. Searched many sites, but not much anywhere near me in St George, UT.
Could sure use an update from users about current status of this company and soundness of buying a new unit ... likely CS300 or CS420.

Thanks and regards,

I bought a CS680 a few months ago and love it to death. I have the new auger system and have no failures or problems to report.

I saw Traeger demo last week and compared the build quality of theirs with mine, and they just seemed to be made flimsier than the Lousianna was. I know people love their Traegers also.

Either way, the 680 has been giving me great results.

Good to hear! Found one dealer in Tempe, AZ and may be able to work something out.

Thanks,

Thanks for the helpful suggestion ! I just called GMG in Reno and have contact info for a SoCal rep who comes to Las Vegas often and could possibly bring a Danial Boone model for us.

Getting a bit confused now with Louisiana, Royall, and Green Valley Grills ...... Not sure how to sort the key issues given none anywhere close to see and touch firsthand ....

Louisiana Grills alive and well... Country Smokers too. Dansons is moving manufacturing from Edmonton, AB to Winnipeg, MB. This week I think.

Got strong reference this afternoon for Idaho Gourmet Grills, in Boise, from Dansons. They might have just the right choices, including a lightly used CS-420. Glad to hear Country Smokers is in the game.
