A Jack & Coke dispenser on one end. A Beer Keg on the other end. And, maybe a small Marguarita despenser hanging down right in the middle.

Lose the propane tank and include lump.
But, if you are buidling a gas model, include a separate smoke chamber, good heat control, and all the others listed.

40,000+ btu's in at least a 4 zone system and make it afordable. One of the many reasons I like charcoal is the heat that you can't get with 90% of the gas grills on the market. Those 90 percent are in the thousands and I can get a real nice! charcoal grill for 1/4 of that.

Excellent Ideas. I seen a high emphasis on hot grates. This I will work on, that was being overlooked. Also. there will be a built in smoker box, 6 burner region, IR for the rotisserie not sure about the main cooking area, and way over 40,000 btu. Yes this is also stainless 99.8% of it. And a never before seen cooking light is going to be incorporated. Keep the ideas coming, this is bringing a great insight what is needed in BBQ cooking.

Here's my wish list:
1. solid stainless grills 2. an effective grease tray (slide out) 3. more, better thermometers AT the grill surface. I can do the smoker box; and the warming rack; don't need side burners or side shelves. A removable front shelf would be more useful for me. In short, build a Crown Verity for the common man.

Diamonds and pearls?
No really....More BTUS(I like it Hot!), and easier way to clean the grease(drip pan) and a good quality side burner. One with more stability. And I agree with kcquer- about the reliable ignitor. They seem to flake out in a short time.

agreed - I've had my Weber gasser since January 2002. Sits outside year-round uncovered, and the pizo igniter fires-off evey time. The Weber also has a hole should you need to use an alternative method to light the grill.

Casters--real casters with rubber wheels, bearings or bushings, bearings on the swivels.
BIG diameter wheels. None of those "sissy plastic" crappola ones that explode when ya try to move it. Call Tim Taylor for recommendations TIM

A thermometer with numbers on it instead of "smoking/grilling/broiling" color coded from pink to red.
