Default Use turkey roasting rack as rib rack

I smoked some baby back ribs today on my WSM.

Used Dr. BBQ's "Big Time BBQ Rub" from the Big Time BBQ Cookbook.

Smoked with hickory for 5-hours at 225-250F. I use a 16" terracotta
flower pot base in place of the water pan.

For a rib rack, I used an upside-down Norpro turkey roasting rack.

These are really good with homemade BBQ sauce.

I believe it's a Norpro. It was about $ 10.00. Look for one with a "V" shape so
you can flip it over.

Damn, I gotta try this. I think my roasting pan is the wolfgang puck one. I have a lot of wolfgang puck stuff in the kitchen, this is what happens when a family member is addicted to QVC.

Default Link to turkey/rib rack

Here's a link to where you can buy the turkey/rib rack.
It's $ 9.75 plus shipping at Cooking.com

http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodde.asp?SKU=103249

My turkey rack is an older one without the non-stick surface, but sticking
is not really a problem.
