I’m hoping I’m not imagining things but I’m looking for a skewer/impaler that will hold multiple chickens vertically without them touching each other. Does one even exist? I have a lot of vertical space in my drum that I want to try chicken on.

I would say any large hanging skewer would do. The weight of the chickens will probably make them slide together when hung, but you could put spacers between them, to keep them apart.

Like an onion? I think that could work.

This'd be interesting. I dig the onion or possibly lemon idea as a spacer and maybe a little extra flavor(?).

:pop2:

An onion would work. I like the lemon idea too, If you wanted something reusable, you could cut some pieces of tubing and put them between the chickens. I would try the lemon first though, that sounds good,
