Okay, it has been a really hard working week, but as a farking art major, I felt obligated to enter something in this TD.

Gore and ecode got the classics covered, so I decided to go contemporary, with another crazy farker artist, who didn't cut off his ear.

So, I present to you basic meat and potatoes, Jackson Pollack style.

Homemade mashed red potatoes for the canvas. A grilled bone-in pork loin chop with olive eyes for the Picasso mod touch, and two sauces that I used my (clean) fingers to artistically spritz -- one tomato based, and one mustard based -- to get some red and yellow spray on the food.

Believe it or not, it tasted really good. I ate it all.

Thanks for looking, before voting for ecode.

That's a really nice looking Zombie chop CD.

I'm really liking Mongo's art. It's not easy drawing faces with mustard. Don't ask me how I know.

Zombies? That's a Picasso chop. Don't you know anything about non Van Gogh art?

And, I think I nailed the Pollack sauce application. That was hand thrown sauce. I even did practice throws. Random splatter takes a lot of practice.

It's Jackson Pollack. I used my fingers. If nothing else, I am true to the artist. I applied the sauce the same way he would have.

I am, after all, an arteest.

I would like to say that it was my passion for grilling steaks that inspired this fine piece of art but to be honest, it came from the gut. I would like to think that I made it my own.

Ooooh, Silverfinger... I'm lovin' that ribeye art. It's your technique that almost had me. But after looking at all of 'em, I had to make the very tough decision. Although Gore's was amazing, I agree it ought to be something you actually want to eat. So, even though they were all really great entries (loved your gut-spilling action, Al), I'm gonna have to go with ecode's Van Gogh. Nice reproduction... very edible.
