Default $120.00 for a gallon of milk

My wife asked me to go get some milk this morning. I went to my usual store to pick it up.Like all of us here, I cruised by the meat section. Butcher was just putting up a sale sign.... Pork Butt-.99/lb. after running back to the front of the store to get a cart I returned to see another sign...Pork Spareribs-.99/lb. I was in nirvana. I loaded up. After I got back home I told my wife to use the milk sparingly since it costs $120.00 a gallon. I now am not allowed to go to the store without having adult supervision.

Great deal! Was that at one of the grocery chains or was it a local store? I'm just wondering if I can find the same sale around here. I need milk.

Ron, It was at my local SAV-A-LOT. The owner is one of my sponsers.I've no idea if there's one in your area. The sale was a managers special so it might be only this store.

Last year I took a trip around the US to celibrate my pending retirement. In Louisana and Texas I stocked up on that great sausage we can't get in No. Cal. All I had were ice chests to bring it home in. Do you have any idea how much dry ice it takes to carry sausage 2000 miles in the back seat of my truck? We fondly refer to this sausage as my $100.00 a pound sausage! But, it is fantastic.I hope you folks down there appreciate it.

And make the second pass from the opposite direction fro the first. Different field of view, never know what may have lurked in a shadow!
