Default Newbie from Texas who found a new hobby...

Hello everyone from a suburb of Houston!

Found me a new favorite hobby over the last couple of years, and last year finally caved in and bought my first humble rig - Old Country Brazos. Nothing special but has gotten the job done and been a bunch of fun (plus I could afford it)! Nothing compliments my other hobby (beer) quite like smoking...

Just did my first spare ribs cook this past Saturday (pics below along with last brisket); have cooked 4 briskets, 3 boston butts, and 1 turkey. Looking forward to expanding my learning here! From lurking over the past year, looks like a great place to be.

Thanks for looking (did I do that right)? Cheers!
