Default Pastrami first attempt

Since the wife and i just started Atkins (finaly a diet with bbq in it lol) I decided to do up som pastrami for my lunch's. This was a test run on the rub, using a 2.5 lb corned beef from the super market. I am currently making my own corned beef to turn into pastrami and will post more pics next week after that is finished.

rubbed and ready

After it was smoked

a couple sliced pics
