Default Bandera Rehab

Just starting my rehab of this Bandera smoker. Does anyone have any advice/suggestions, other than info in Bandera101?

Yes, those are mud dauber nests inside both boxes!!!

I would say 'degreased' is clean enough. Unless it's rusted real bad?

don't worry about the inside of the smoker box. Just scrape it down.

What you should really concentrate on is:
  1. heat shields inside the firebox
  2. good exterior prep and application of high temp paint
  3. some serious wheels
