Smoked Quinoa Meatloaf w/Butternut Squash & Pear Puree
This months 4 Ingredient Blogger's Challenge had the follow ingredients:
Ground Meat Quinoa Winter Squash Pear The idea is to come up with a meal that uses all four ingredients. This was my take: Meatloaf with ground beef and turkey and quinoa as the binder. Worked great. Won't use turkey again, the color just ain't right. The butternut squash and pear puree was very tasty... Yes, pear!
It actually worked quite well with the butternut squash...

Gotta admit, that is a good take on some adventurous combos.

I'm not a huge pear fan. I wouldn't just eat a pear. But the squash/pear combo worked for me.

I've come to the conclusion that ground turkey doesn't belong in a meatloaf. Not only do you get the strange color, but the greasy stuff that always seems to leak out the top is downright unappetizing.
Nice job on working all the ingredients in.
