ok i have been missing from the board for awhile (not that anyone would notice) but i gotta know, is anyone in these cold northern state jonesing to get back outside and start smoking some meat at these comps?

yeah i could tell after i started reading more, but i got stuck on the rule change thread for so long i forgot. doesn't matter how long you stay away some threads just dont go away do they?

up here in ny its been about 20-30 for the past month, just ordered a whole buncha kosmo's and im giving butts brisket and ribs a practice run for the big game, spring fever is setting in.

well i can tell watertower has it. cabin fever is a biotch...got up to almost 40 today should tried something i guess. oh well spring will get here soon enough i guess.

I think I'm practicing a case of butts this weekend. Half one name brand injection, half another. If the third maker wants to send up a sample, I'll try that one too.

I'm breaking the rules! I am not a competitor, nor do I live in the north. But YES! I am so waiting for Spring! I'll bet you guys never thought it snowed like this in Arizona! (January 22, 2010). All of my cookers are buried behind the table. To the right piled high is my grill. Beyond that center-left with the top piled with snow is my COS. Another lump is my gas smoker. I just want to use them!
