Talking Teriyaki Jalapeno Garlic Cilantro Grilled Boneless Chicken Thighs

Took some Soy Vay, and doctored it up with some diced japs, cilantro, garlic, and hot chili oil, basted meat over medium hot coals and grilled to perfection. Delish!

Nice job there, almost seems more like Korean with the spice.

Not to generalize but it's Asian for sure!
Soy sauce is the base for an Asian marinade/glaze as I know it,one of the first things I learned in my Mom's kitchen.

Sounds & looks GREAT!

One question: do you buy the boneless thighs or just bone them out yourself. I'm just curious....I've never seen boneless thighs at the butcher.

These were packaged already boned but with skin on - they are a regular item at just about any grocery store out here in CA. They also have them boned and skinned, and these seem even more readily available. I prefer them with the skin for the crispification factor. :)

I bet if you check one of the larger local grocery chains in your area you'll find them...

I buy the thighs with the bone in, bone em myself cause it is easier. I cook the bones down to make a broth for later use. Thighs are easy to bone by simply running a small knife along each side of the thigh bone and then pulling the meat from the bone.

Yes Phubar, quite a few Asian sauces use soy sauce, I was just riffing on the peppers.
