Default Who makes Mavericks?

I got one on that deal the other day and noticed the CharGriller in the background on the box. Thought that was a bit odd. Then I saw this
http://www.chargriller.com/index.php...emart&Itemid=2

Looks identical to me. AND cheaper

It sure looks like an ET732, but cheaper! I wonder what the shipping costs?

You may be on to something here.

Okay, so check this out. I found the "Chargriller remote thermometer" for sale on Walmart.com and wayfair.com
http://www.wayfair.com/Char-Griller-...6-EFC1021.html
http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/C...81640&veh=mweb

I guess Redi-Check is the manufacturer. And, the price depends on who packages it

edit
And Amazon

All the same part number 6206

The cooker temperature probe looks different than the one that came with my ET-732. I wonder if it covers the same range. Mine is supposed to go a bit over 500°F.

Just because there is an PO box in Jersey is no guarantee it is assembled there. I would be willing to bet they are assembled in China , Taiwan , or RP.

"Made in China" clearly marked on the back of both ET-73 and ET-732.
