Finally had some time home so grabbed a nice Prime rib and rubbed with Porcini Mushroom rub I make and SPOGS

On the Yoder with Maple for some smoke until 93°

Then on the Weber with Maple chunks with the spinner to keep things even

Had the lid on and off several time to allow some flame kissing but not let it just burn. Had to take it off a few times and let the flames from the dripping juices settle

Back to spinning

Shoot! Doesn't get any better looking than that! Looks delicious Neighbor!

Dang that prime rib is cooked perfectly, looks delicious!

Nice flame shots, I can almost hear the sizzle from here! I like mine on the red side as well. Now I'm hungry!

Looking good! Intrigued by this Porcini rub - care to elaborate?

Sure, I buy dried Porcini mushrooms and grind them in a coffee grinder to make a beefy rub. This time I did not add anything else and just used Oakridge SPOGS with it but you can add what you want Salt, pepper of choice, garlic, onion, touch of brown sugar ETC

It is great on steaks.
