Default Happy Turkey Day! Wait.... What? Its not November...

Just taking a few minutes to say thanks. Thanks for having me here and not tossing me out.
Decided today was as good as any to have a Thanksgiving dinner.
Lately politics has been making me just angry and frustrated. So for today taking a step back saying thanks for the good things in life.
Just finished the turkey. Going to be making home made cherry pie and using my great grandmother's pie crust recipe. My grandma use to make cherry pie all the time.
Anyways I am thankful for my kids, my wife, my extended family, and all you folks. Some days just seeing all your amazing cooks makes my day just a little better. So thank you all for being you.

It's funny how good food gets associated with memories. The turkey looks great.

Bird looks great, Rusty.

Looking forward to the finale.

Some days, especially these days, it's important to remember to take stock and give thanks for all that we have. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction.

Rusty, that Turkey looks great.
Giving thanks for what we do have, even under the circumstances, makes us realize what is really important in life; Faith, Family, Friends /Brethren.
And, a good cook puts it all in perspective, because we can share it.
