It is only wasteful if it is burned as Fuel. That is alcohol abuse! A waste of good White dog is a terrible thing and should be outlawed.

Nice job...I cook mine in the 300-325 range with a similar trim and weight. They usually pop in 4 hours or so. I like the bark...gotta try that butcher paper trick one day.
