Default Does anyone own the Weston Vacuum Sealer?

I am about fed up with foodsaver. Yes, I need one and can't live without it, BUT it gets used ALOT. this is the second one now that the protective tape over the sealing strip has come off, and it shuts down sometimes if I am sealing alot of stuff.

Does anyone own the Weston Sealer?
How do you like it?
Can you seal with it without vacuuming?
Can you use foodsaver brand bags?
Does it have wet/dry & slow/fast settings like the foodsaver?

pros & cons?

Thanks in advance!
Gary
