Nice Michael! That's still my favorite way to cook a turkey. The price of peanut oil is off the hook tho, so I haven't done one lately.

I used a generic Soy/Peanut oil. The price was lower than the pure Peanut oil with the same result.

It's the Butterball Indoor Electric Turkey Fryer. It's 100% safe but limited to a 13 pound bird. I have cooked many birds in this and the crowd raves every time.

I fry one for Turkey Day every year. Another in the smoker...I prefer the fried myself! And the leftover oil is a good excuse for a neighborhood fry-a-thon of fish, oysters, veggies etc.
