... And I'm itching to fire her back up tomorrow to try yet another recipe.

This has been a slow summer for my sound gigs, and has fueled an unhealthy level of que addiction.

I can just hear wifey's rants tomorrow when she sees the smoker whisps up again after I spent a couple of hours today cleaning up and not spending "quality time" with her :)

For a lady? Always! My momma raised me right.

So I did succumb to my quelust today. Got some post oak delivered, so I had to give it a run.

Got some beef cheek meat from HEB, rubbed with simple SPG, and beat the crap out of it with Oak smoke after thin blue and pit is up to temp.

Didn't eat all day waiting for this thing. Well really the objective was to practice my stick burning skills snd timing. The beef was just extra. Dinner was hearty.
 
I'm kvelling over that but what do you know about verklempt? :shock: :p :wink:
