WTF am I missing on trying to get pics posted? Clearly I haven't tried this in a while because every damn hosting site I've tried has failed...Imgur, Flickr, Photobucket (have to pay now?). What do you guys use to post pics in here? When I hit the 'Insert Image' button and paste the link to these hosted images it doesn't show the pic. Is it because it's a secure site - httpS vs. http?

Flickr works. Just have to click share on your picture to get the BBCode, then just paste that into your message.

I am in the process of building out a box truck. After competing out of a small trailer for the past two years I figured I finally knew what space I needed/wanted and my hope is I will be able to be "set up" in less than 5 minutes. May sounds lazy but I use my vacation days to attend comps and I felt like I was working too hard setting up/tearing down to enjoy them as much as I should :)

I've cooked out of a 6x12 utility trailer for almost 3 years. It's tight, but doable when you utilize the space the best. On one wall I have a set of fold up bunks and on the opposite is 2 fold-down tables, a hanging basket, speed rail for spices, and I hang some small plastic baskets on the edge of the speed rail. In the nose, I built shelves. The top shelf goes all the way across and is the same height as my tables, and it houses my big stuff like my cambro and drawer storage. On the left its open where I can wheel my AC unit into storage and tuck in an extra cot, fans, and my cutting boards. On the other side, in the nose, is a shelf for pans and utensils with chairs and charcoal tucked under the shelf on the floor. I then have room to tuck in 2 coolers and a tub full of wood.

I throw a few tables and an EZ up in for good measure, and I can break down my entire set up in about 30 minutes, including loading both cookers, when the hubby decides to help instead of occupying the chair :).

Hi Beth,

I also have a 6' x 12' Haulmark. Is there anyway you can post some pics of your set up? It sounds like you have it very dialed in.

Sure can! It's loaded right now with both of my cookers, so you can't see much, but I can snag a few tomorrow in the light. We're cooking St. Patty's Day weekend in Pensacola, so I can get pictures of the whole set up then too.

Please keep in mind this was mid-cook, so it's slightly dirty/disorganized. This layout has been amazing for us in the small space.
