Default Cajun Bandit Door for WSM

Today, I received my stainless steel door from Cajun Bandit that I ordered for the 22" WSM...

Impressed.. it's thicker than I expected and although I haven't used it yet I can see this being a noticeable improvement for the POS aluminum door.

Only thing that was a bit of a pain was the plastic film on one side that had to be removed.. it took a while to peel off.

I am interested in your take on it once you cook with it on there a few times. The door sure is the weak spot of the older 18.5 model.

It is a big improvement, I have the 18.5" canjun bandit door I've used for a while. It really does fit like a glove. It's a pain in the butt to bend if you have to tweak it, but once it's shaped it aint moving.

Like Vinny, I have also ordered a new 22" WSM along with the canjun bandit door. The door arrived a couple of days ago, but the WSM just shipped and I'm going out of town for Thanksgiving. Looks like it will be a week or so until I can post some "breaking in" pron. Hopefully Vinny can beat me to it!
