My turn to cook Christmas lunch for the family this year.

Started yesterday afternoon, chickens on the kettle.

Started again at 0700 this morning :tsk:

Put the turkey on, turned out a little darker than I hoped but was still nice and tender inside. Not bad for my first shot at turkey.

4 sheets of ribs cooked low 'n' slow.

Once everything was ready, we started with entrée of Prawns or Satay Chicken

This is the first Christmas that I have had off from work in 5 years, it was really nice to have the family around today.
All this was followed by the traditional after Christmas lunch snooze! :grin:
For anyone who is interested, everything was 100% gluten / wheat free.
Hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

Very Nice!!!!!!!! Merry Christmas, brother!!:clap2::thumb:

Looks great! Merry Christmas!

Threw me off for a second when I was reading this at 6 AM Christmas morning at work, then realized you were in Australia. LOL

Merry Christmas to you. Great looking eats. Thanks for sharing.

Looks fantastic brother! Merry Christmas to you and your family from your brethren across the big pond.

Looks great! You might as well turn in your request for the next Christmas off from work and keep your family happy!:becky:

Thanks everyone, it was a lot of work but well worth it.
Will be eating left overs until after new years!

It has already been suggested by several family members that next Christmas would be spent here with me cooking again.
