Default My smoked nuts

I decided to take a literal approach to this throwdown and use my A-MAZE-N tube smoker for the first time.

Got me some almonds, some pellets, and the AMNTS.

Put them on my Weber Performer with some cheese.

And the final product after 3 hours. Please use this as my entry photo.

Nice cold smoke with cheese and nuts. Looks good..

I too use the A-Maze-N smokers. I've been using pellets for cold smoking sausage, cheese, and cured meats (bacon, ham, ect)..

I have been paying to ship pellets. I just visited the Traeger site and found that when buying 2) 20 Lb bags you get free shipping, a free bottle of BBQ sauce.

Pellet Deal

Very interesting combination, I bet it tasted great! I hadn't considered smoking almonds before even though I love them. Can you tell us more about the smoking part? I'm not familiar with the A-MAZE-N tube, was it the only source of fire/heat or did you have charcoal going in the kettle, too?
