Default no vinegar

no vinegar sauce

So my lady friend has an allergy to vinegar.
I've tried a couple different recipes I've found online but haven't really found anything i like. Most are ketchup based and end up tasting like ketchup with some added pizazz .
Anybody have any non vinegar recipes?

I would use lemon or lime juice as a substitute for vinegar

More importantly does that mean she's allergic to wine also?

Try that, it won't replace the wine though.

You could always try a mustard or white sauce opposed to a tomato or vinegar sauce. Worcestershire is sour, but it may not make a good substitute for vinegar.

You could also consider finding a new lady friend. Just kidding :)

Most mustard also includes vinegar.
There are beer mustards that use beer in place of the vinegar
