DrumGrill Chicken
I've been wanting to do some mods to my DrumGrill for some time now and had the chance to do the work on it yesterday and today. I bought an older Weber Grill off of Craigslist Wednesday for $20.00 It was missing the ash catcher and sweeper and the grills but the body was decent enough and I mainly wanted the Kettle Lid for my Drum Grill.
Today I fired it up and put it through the Paces.... I have to work on sealing the Lid to the Barrel with some silicone in the future, but for now aluminum foil works well... Dueling Smoking Drums.... On the DrumSmoker I have Turds and Chucks.... And on the DrumGrill I have Chicken..... My Main Bud, Johnny Mack, came by to see me and hang a while as I cooked... This is Us, Looking Pretty......Man!!! My Beard is getting White!!! Looks like he's whispering sweet nothings to my Drumpit.... Johnny Mack "enjoying" his first ABT... He has since "enjoyed" 7 more.... I tried to warn him of the dire consequences that await him later, but I guess it's a lesson best learned first hand..... |
