Default $3.77/LB Ribeyes

Safeway is selling bone-in ribeye roasts for $3.77 / lb! Some are cut into thick steaks while others are left whole. I grabbed the best looking packages from the two stores around here.

Got a whole Ribeye on sale the other day for $3.99 per pound. The weight was like #16.
We age a bit in the beer fridge, slice and vacuum seal the leftovers, for the deep freezer.

I placed the roast, about 5.5 lbs, in the freezer as-is. The four 1 lb steaks I covered in coarse ground pepper on both sides, then rubbed in some worchestershire sauce and vacuum sealed them for freezing. We're leaving town for the weekend so I won't be able to cook them right away, but we'll have some good eatin' next weekend for sure!
