didnt know where to put this or if it has already been posted but has anyone else heard this .i read it on another forum and wondering how true it is

They aren't going to stop production on it.
That would be foolish.
I read on the Internet that they were going to add a $10.00
Carbon Tax to every bag.

Like I just said in another thread: Only a matter of time till they tax BBQ.

This really is unreal. I went to sleep and woke up in a different country.

Brauma - Ain't that the truth! This is not the same country I was raised in.

Big Brother is not coming - BIG BROTHER IS HERE!

This can't be for real. Very few of us use much coal at all anymore. I think more people use gas or the oven. I really hope this doesn't happen

I agree this is NOBAMA rattling, could it actually be an organization like PETA people pushing that agenda? There are much worse things in this industry like starter fluid for example - do you really need starter fluid?

igolf2Remember it is APRIL 1st!
yeah thats what i first thought but that would be a real cruel joke if it was.

Pork fat grease on the face mod. Ok, you got me.

But I'm still not surprised by any outrageous taxes.

Well - the tobacco taxes went into effect today - and that was no joke.

Yeah and to think there are a bunch of people around me that actually elected him. Try finding the ammunition to go get the BBQ...

Talk such as this is simple politics... and it may be reality.

That other forum fessed up that it is indeed an April Fools prank!

Almost half of the electricity in this country is generated by coal, I doubt they are worried about the Brethren firing up UDSs and BGEs

Pellets???
Green my ass!
They take much more energy to produce than charcoal.
Much harder to compress.

PS: I don't know much about Pellets other than what I had to clean out
of the Rabbit cages as a kid.

That's why I cook with pellets. Green technology!

i didn't even know the EPA made charcoal
