Default Swamp Loggers Smoker trailer

Did anyone watch the new episode of Swamp Loggers this past week?? One of the loaders is a trained chef and when the crew hits 100 loads per week the boss pays for him to cook for the crew. Well they got tired of cooking on a little gas grill and they purchased a mobile trailers from Stumps with a 3-4 rack smoker (capable of doing a 150 whole hog), a baby Stumps, a Charcoal grill and a deep fat fryer. It was reall a nice looking setup.

I saw it this past May at a competition. It is a very nice rig, painted like a Tigercat. Walter McDowell (Stump) was there with them. I talked with him some about their smokers. He is an interesting person.

I don't know how serious they are about competition but they have done a couple I know of. David Mueller is the chief cook but Bobby and Justin were there when I saw them. I saw them at a whole hog competition in NC. They have a web site but have not done much with it yet.

I saw the show and when they got the cooker delivered. Big beast. David Mueller (the chef) is Bobby's son-in law. Each week the whole teem delivers 100 loads of logs to the mill's, each member gets a $100.00 bill and Bobby for the entire meal that David ends up cooking.
