Talking FInally made it to the end!!!

Finally made it to the end of this epic thread!
(There really out to be a T-shirt )

An especially big thanks to the masters of this thread, Norco, N8man, Bigmista, Dr.K., BubbaQ, and others I am for getting to name, for listening to us all as we plodded along our own UDS paths asking questions, usually the same ones over and over, and encouraging us to read the thread.

Thanks to all the brethren who have contributed their ideas, tips, pics, and experiences both good and bad. It has been much appreciated.

I will be bringing home one of my freebie drums today to get a look inside and see what work lies ahead. I can hardly wait to get started. I'm gonna find a sheet metal shop that will gut some expanded metal for my firebasket(s) and gather up the rest of the supplies.

Thanks again,

brotherbd

All I can add is keep it simple and you will have no problems. The ones that stray are the ones that come back with more questions about why this or that happened. K.I.S.S.

Thanks for the reply. I think I am going to go the Harbor Freight unibit (step BIT ) route. cheaper and just as effective. Plus I need the unibit for another project too.

They have the knockout punches for only like 5 dollars more right now than the step bit. Something I thought was interesting.

Default Drumhead T-shirts

Hey N8teman,

If you designed the shirt for us drumheads you could load it on here with these guys and everyone can order their own official UDS drumhead t-shirt.

here's a company that a friend of mine uses, not promoting them that would be bad , there may be more this is just one that I am aware of.

here's their link http://www.zazzle.com/

So what do ya think N8man?

I'll be first in line if thay have a 4XL.

True, but the stepbit combo was $5 off when I bought it and I've already used it for other projects. Good to know there's alternatives though.
