Sled, that site is missing data ... or it least it is for us. It looks like it's missing various comps from September-October 2008 for everyone.

Disclaimer: this isn't a knock against the PP rankings, they are real slick if you cook all KCBS.

I guess if the payday is big enough, we can promote anything. (sorry about the hijack, this one really hit me hard)

I wonder if PNWBA events can be included in the National Rankings? The closest KCBS comp was 350 miles miles from me!

I'm not familiar with FBA (other than it stands for Florida BBQ Association ... I think) - what are the differences between FBA and KCBS?

Categories are the same, and in the same order. FBA has 1 hour between turn-ins, starting at 11:00AM. FBA is 8 pieces, no garnish allowed. FBA has a very cooker-friendly score sheet, you can see how you did on your table and who else was on it. FBA scores in 1/2 point increments, with a 10 being perfect. Non-comparative. FBA allows for ties. You get your boxes Saturday morning, around 8am. We've sanctioned contests in FL, GA, AL, and TN. We have state championships as well, following the same criteria outlined by the folks at the American Royal and Jack Daniel's.
