Default Blues Hog Score

Just went to the small grocery store this morning to grab a few things and went down the bbq sauce aisle, just to check to see whats been added. I happened to see the Blues Hog Original and Tennessee Red on the bottom shelf on a "price reduction" down to $2.69. I think I may be stocked up for the year now.

A local Kroger carried it here about two years ago. I went to the manager and thanked him and asked they continue carrying it.

Apparently I was the only one. It hasn't been back. Bummer. But it was cool to be able to buy it local for a short while.

Our Jewel used to carry it but the demand wasn't there as well. Our lost.

I can find the Original locally.About $4 a pint.Schnucks used to carry the whole line but they were bought out so now it is original only or order online. My fave for pulled pork and chicken quarters is the TN RED.I am getting ready to order a case of gallons. It will keep on my shelf just as well as it will in a faraway warehouse.

before you go all the way to Tennessee, the HEB's in the Houston area have blue and red on the shelves right now.

They had it before and it went away for awhile, but its back for now.

What??? Which HEB's? I don't think I've seen it at the one in Pearland, but I swing by the one on Buffalo Speedway occasionally. Time to go back and scour the shelves.
