Default The Bird is in the Brine.

Who else is smoking a Turkey for Thanksgiving?

Just put the turkey in the brine. For the Turkey Day meal.
Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow BBQ Brethren.

The Eagle has left the nest

Not smoking a turkey but couldn't resist replying to your title as it sounded like some cheesy cold war spy code.

I have three on the dumn right now. They are at about 150ish temps at the breast and I'm waiting for them to come up so I can pull them. One is brined with PD's brine and the other 2 are injected. I may stick to 2 next year because 3 is pretty tight!

Good luck with the bird and Happy Thanksgiving!

I just put one in the brine. We will brine/smoke one and oven roast the other. The buffalo are relieved. They do not know that we are planning a big prime rib for Christmas.
