The Bird is in the Brine.
Who else is smoking a Turkey for Thanksgiving?
Just put the turkey in the brine. For the Turkey Day meal. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow BBQ Brethren. Gooffy140 |

The Eagle has left the nest
Not smoking a turkey but couldn't resist replying to your title as it sounded like some cheesy cold war spy code.

I have three on the dumn right now. They are at about 150ish temps at the breast and I'm waiting for them to come up so I can pull them. One is brined with PD's brine and the other 2 are injected. I may stick to 2 next year because 3 is pretty tight!
Good luck with the bird and Happy Thanksgiving! |

I just put one in the brine. We will brine/smoke one and oven roast the other. The buffalo are relieved. They do not know that we are planning a big prime rib for Christmas.
