Well In the process of making a turkey fyer corn maker for a picnic on Sat. Went price shopping of the corn. A kinda Family farm near us called Thies Farm said that they would sell me Bag of 60 for $16.00. Wholly Chit thats like .26cents a piece..:rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Make sure you try an ear b-4 buying as $16 is a great price but having to get rid of 60 ears of feed corn not so great :sad:
 
I guess prices are different everywhere but that is over $3 a dozen. We can get most any corn there is around here fresh from the field for $2 or less.
 
the logical extension of this high cost would be to convert all corn to liquid form before consuming
