Absolutly not, The organizer couldn't have been any nicer or the reps, but the mis-information or down right lies when the awards were still very apparent.

Positives: They had plenty of porta-potties. Said they were going to clean them at dark 30 so have a path cleared for them. Had a water guy on tractor delivering water this year, ice, and trash pickup came to our sites.

At the cooks meeting, they stated that they had a cbj class on Thursday night and were expecting to have 85-90% cbj.

Awards where scheduled to start at 5:00 and then at 5:30 the reps said they were having issues with the KCBS system since KCBS was updating their software. Then about half way through the awards they said they had our personal score sheets but their printer broke and the overall score sheets were going to be 30-45 minutes late.

My sister in law Sherri went to ask when the sheets would be ready, and there were 5 other teams wondering the same thing. She overheard the rep say "so your five minutes out" while he was on his cell phone. The reps wife came over to him as he got off the phone and said sombody was wanting to talk to him, and he walked away without giving any info to Sherri. She piped up and said that there were a number of teams wanting a answer on the sheets and he walked away. The rep's wife said the sheets are coming from Front Street and the guy didn't have a cell phone. (REALLY?) Sherri stated they should have a backup printer since they have had the same issue 2 out of the 3 years. Rep was like oh I didn't realize we have had this problem before. Sherri said you would think you would remember all of your past "glitches" or maybe it's because you have so many you can't. lol

The porta-potties next to us were never cleaned and were accesable. The printer problems were the same as 3 years ago. Why does KCBS system update on a saturday and not let's say 2:00 am on like a wednesday? Sunday on KCBS website I noticed CBJ was 40%.

I am not saying we should have deserved a better score than we got. But our food turns out the same every contest. We haven't seen 6's on our sheet since we started and we had 6 of them. I haven't been hurt by low CBJ % before, but with all the "cover up's", how do I know that my food was judged accordingly. I will now pay closer attention to % as most of you do.

I am not trying to take away from how the contest ended up Congrats to all who heard their name and congrats to Sweet Beaver for their first GC in such a big field.

I thought it was better than last year, computer problems happen, I got my individual scores and that is all I was after.
The scoring was low for me also
