I've been taking most weekends off board.

Just too much to do lately.
Just wanted to pay my respects! LOL

I joined in July of 2005, and have the honor of being the 1000th member to join.

It has been and is lots of fun and very educational. Thanks to Poobah and all the others who make it so.
Long live the Brethren.
Amen, brothers & ditto to all of the above, a truly great place to call home.

p.s. - How did you find out what your "joining" number is?

I quess Qman may remember if he called it out or someone else knew, but if you want to know your #, you can go into the member list and sort by join date, it will show 100 records per page, beginning with the original members first from 2003.

I just know this is going to be one of those questions that after I ask, the answer will be readily apparent. Fark it. Why does the "Member List" count 1337?

I'm not always here, but when I am, there aren't many places I'd rather be. Thank you Brethren, past and present.

Scratch my suggestion... you're right... I forgot that the member list only shows those ID's who actually have 1 post or more. I guess that would mean there are approx 2700 members who have an ID that have never posted...

I know, because about 10 minutes after I signed up, I got an e-mail from Poobah telling me that I was the 1000th member.
That just impressed me enough so I remembered it.

Did not get a door prize, though.
