Ideas For Burn Out Location

So, I'm finally in a position to build my UDS, but I don't have a place to burn out the liner. I live in an apartment complex that is ok with me smoking food, but not ok with burnind out my drum. Can't say that I blame them, but I'm at a loss for where I could go to get it done? Fire department maybe? Anyone have ideas?
 
I would say call the Fire Department.

Where do you intend to store the smoker?

Might be tough with an apartment.
 
I have a concrete slab and I'm on the basement floor. That's the reason they approved me to have it in the first place.

And yeah...I thought about calling the FD. Probably the best idea.
 
Independent auto shops are another place to ask, not to mention any welding or muffler/exhaust shops
 
My High School had a "Burn Out" location, it was a street behind the school and everyone was smoking funny smelling cigarettes, but I digress. I think you would need to find an industrial area to do that or a buddy with a big back yard that won't get in trouble for building a large fire in a barrel.
 
You might also consider sand blasting. I found a blasting shop near here that allowed me to blast my own for less than $20.
