Just wanted to say hello and give my compliments on a well put together forums. Very interesting and informative reading thus far.
After suffering my dad’s interpretations of bbq for years, I finally got my own set up—the Char-Griller Duo with a side fire box. I already broke in the smoker with a picnic, 2 butts, and 3 slabs of spare ribs. Still learning fire control as I am a gas person (from restaurant work) but learning quickly and enjoy it. Beef ribs this weekend.
I compete in other hobbies and expect to be doing so in this new found hobby soon too.
