Peri Peri Chicken Over Oak
Nellie wanted chicken over a wood fire again.
24 hour soak in "Nando's Peri Peri" Got some oak going in the 18" Burned of some of the grease from last week's butts Put on the thighs They are done Plated up with some cous cous. Since we got the "nando's" on a BOGO time to go to Publix in the AM and load up. Thanks for looking

Great looking chicken! I had never heard of Peri Peri chicken and your cook got me curious. I was at Publix picking up some fried chicken for dinner tonight so I picked up 2 bottles of the Nando's XX Hot to try as dipping sauce. I thought the sauce was pretty good. It was like hot sauce with citrus taste. Wife thought it was decent but lacking heat. My daughter also said it tasted too mild. It's strange because I thought it had good enough heat.
