Probably a good device, but I like the wireless reader so I don't have to go to the cooker to check the temps.

The design is very nice and clean...it would be nice if it was wireless and could transmit the temp reading inside. That is one feature I love about the Maverick as I can just take a quick glance at the temp without having to trudge outside.

Saw those this morning. When my probe thermos die, I'm snatching a couple up as replacements. I love that there aren't extra bells and whistles.
