whats the deal with these kits.

nobody make the door themselves ?????
maybe not of cast iron, but ive seen some decent welding here why not fab. yourself ???
i know there wil be inefficencys but why not ?

the kitz are just way over priced IMHO i remember casting things in hi school same time i last welded over 20 years ago.

any input ????

For those of us unable to cast or weld, these kits are perfect. And I suppose your definition of overpriced may be different than mine. The doors are heavy duty and look great. The collars fit perfectly. I'm happy with them, even at full retail.

that chit is cheap, you couldnt put that together at home depot or northern tool for less
