Birds & Turds (pron)
Tonight's cook on the Egg was birds & turds. Cooked/smoked slow and low with the platesetter and cherry wood. I kept everything simple. A little Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper on the wings and then cooked 2.5 hours. At 2.5 hours I pulled them and dipped them in Red Hot. Put them back on the egg 20-30 minutes turning once to firm up the glaze.
The ABT's were stuffed cream cheese, sprinkled with Rudy's BBQ rub, wrapped in thin bacon and sprinkled again. Just before serving I drizzled them with Traverse Bay Farms Hot Raspberry BBQ sauce. Wifey made a delicious cucumber salad from fresh cucumbers picked this morning from our garden. Pron can't translate how delicious everything was. Thanks for looking

Looking good there D.D., I also serve my wings with really cold cucumbers, good way to cool things down after a hot one.
