Our Jamaican influenced entry for the Throwdown.
Jerk Rubbed some Beef steak and Chicken Thighs.



Gathered the Goodies for a Trinidadian savoury Corn based slice.



Cooked all , including Pineapple on the Weber kettle.
Steak was reverse seared.







Carabbean style Salad

Bought it all togethor

The slice was a recipe from Trinidad:rolleyes:

That looks awesome! I can only imagine the favors of the meat, pineapple and the jerk.

Like others, I am unfamiliar with the savory slice, but would live to give it a try.
 
Looks delicious! I'm intrigued by that corn slice. I may have to give that a go.

I haven't seen the slice-thingy either but it sounds interesting. I think you should send me a ticket to Trinidad to check it out for you :-D
