Ground Chuck
Tom Thumb had Chuck Roast on sale down here for $0.99/lb. Was wondering if anyone had ever made ground chuck out of this ? Ground Chuck going for $1.99/lb, so why not do it yourself ?

But would you need to add extra fat, like with ground beef?

Don't get your finger caught in it! Or anything else, for that matter.
I just grind it up with reckless abandon, personally.

It depends on the fat content of the meat... Just do it by weight. Cut up the chuck into cubes to make grinding easier, and then weigh out the lean, and add fat until you get the ratio that you want...
What do you call a cow with no legs? Ground beef! OK... I'll stop...
