Default Can't find butcher paper

Am I going to have to buy a lifetime roll at restaurant depot?

I had planned to use for the first time tomorrow. Should I go brown paper bag, foiled pan, or bareback?

Cut open a brown paper sack I've done it plenty, 1 large sack is perfect for a packer.

www.pospaper.com
Just buy the lifetime supply and get it over with. In the long run its about 20x cheaper than that amount of foil.
Your welcome! He he

I buy lots of meat from a local Butcher Shop. It helps if they know you...
I take time to talk about Smoking, grilling, ect...
They gave me a piece of a roll.
(Never hurts to ask)

Fall Back...
I know another Butcher Shop/Deer Processor about 20 miles away who is pretty generous, as long as I bring him several Deer a year.
(I also took him to our lease too) Do it right and make a friend.

It also really helps if you live in small town America...
These guys depend on locals for most of their business.

I think of the investment in time as one of the joys of retirement.

That is not smart! It's not fda food grade and no telling what all is scrapped together to make that stuff. Binders like glue, etc are in there. Poor choice in cook method, especially if your feeding others!

If you had a pellet grill, you'd be the guy using fir and treated scrap heating pellets in it. I just have a big problem with bad BBQ advise, especially potentially harmful to others. Not cool...Peace Bro!

I did not intend to offend you.I just stated what I use.I would never intentionally give harmful advice to anyone. If the paper I use is dangerous to use in this manner, then by all means,do not use it and please accept my apology.I have used it for 30+ years with no ill effects.Maybe I have just been lucky.

My SAMs does have a restaurant supply section so I think I will check. I may go back to by grocery and ask for a 3' piece. I don't mind buying the BIG roll, but I would like to at least make sure I like this technique
